Project Management coordination (PMO)

Actively support all Program Management activities
which includes planning, use and implementation of project methods and
tools used for project management
. The PM tools and processes include PEP, Planisware,
PITS V5 and PSR system

Ensure the application of the Planisware system in
order to meet global requirements

d. Ensure that FFQ (Fit for Quality) is an integral part
of the PEP Project Management System.
Achieve a high level of expertise in the Planisware
software. Able to train, guide, and instill knowledge to KeyUsers in the
Planisware daily activities
. PMO responsibility in chassis group
. Limited project management duties as assigned by
management (PEP3 lite at most)

2. Data management of engineering information in key
systems like SAP

3. Collection of market information in support of PTM
activities and business strategies.

4. Maintenance of strategy documents

Tasks

1. Project Management

a. Coordinate and provide training and support to
Program Managers, for Planisware, ensuring Project Managers have
adequate knowledge of PW to function at expert level.
b. Have a complete understanding of the
Planisware requirements and coordinate with Program Managers to ensure
compliance with Global Business Division requirements for Planisware.
c. Complete expert understanding of the Project Management System PEP.
d. Work closely with the P I group to provide
training and updates as needed to existing Program Managers for the PEP
Process.
e. Understand the Management
Handbook with detailed focus on the Project Management Procedures.

Execute actions in Planisware according to
duties of PMO (gate advancement, approval of charters, etc)
g. Maintain local drive with archive of minutes
from Project Reviews and Gateway reviews.
h. Provide tracking, of open items from Program
and Gateway reviews ensuring closeout by Project Managers or responsible
parties.
i. Monitor all projects in Planisware and ensure
red projects have been elevated to director engineering / vp, ensure all
started projects are being maintained monthly, and that action plans
exist for red projects and projects that are late for gate reviews.
j. Coordinate, schedule, and maintain audits
(LPA’s) of Chassis PEP Programs.

2. New Project Meetings

a. Coordinate and run the bi-weekly new project
meetings
b. Ensure all required documentation is completed,
meeting minutes are published and decision is logged.

3. Data management

a. Be familiar with all of the data management
that is required of AE’s and PDE’s.
b. Look for opportunities and make proposals to
centralize some of this work in order to increase efficiency of
engineers
c. Take on central data management role for
chassis

4. Market information

a. Coordinate, with applications engineers,
collection of data and organization of data in regional chassis
roadmaps.

Formal prerequisites for the position

1. Bachelor’s Degree

2. Ability to travel domestically internationally

Additional competencies that are desired:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred

2. Excellent Project Management skills with 3+ years of
experience

3. Project management certification

4. Knowledge of Planisware 5 Windchill software
